While some praised the outstanding service and memorable dining experience, others were disappointed with the quality of the food and the overall omakase experience. Some diners found the fish to be chewy and flavorless, while others enjoyed the variety of dishes offered on the omakase menu. The restaurant's setting and ambiance were also noted, with some diners enjoying the historic setting and attentive staff. Overall, the restaurant seems to have its strengths and weaknesses, with some diners recommending it for a fine dining experience while others suggest caution when choosing the omakase menu.
Fresh sushi; delicious menu was very pleasant; great service.
The Grandmakase menu for valentinstag was excellent with the right quantity, variety, fresh and taste. the sushi is excellent! the service was rather lax and after a 7:30 o'clock reservation at 8 o'clock we had to sit after 15 minutes asking if someone should serve us water and at least take our drink order. the waiters were too busy to create tables for people waiting in the line as actually those who are already sitting. all in all, we will come back to a regular night, but were disappointed after we spent $350 for 2 on Valentine's Day.
Great sushi preparations done by the chef. Seasoned properly. Excellent service. A little pricey and reservations are recommended. Small white table place.
Food was okay but well below my expectation with the price charged $80 per course). Please beware that the $80 course now does not include sashimi, which they charge $100. Service was mediocre. Will not come back.
If you do not eat good sushi often or are just desperate, perhaps this would work for you. For me, my bottom line evaluation is edible
