I'm low key glad I don't live in the area because I'd be there all the time. The calamansi tea was extraordinary and the ube pancakes may have ruined all other pancakes for me. I went with my family and everyone loved their food. A definitely a must try. View all feedback.

A wonderful dining experience just like my first earlier this year. Erin, our server, was really terrific along with the runners that brought our meals and cleared our table afterwards. Delicious, hearty meals that were so generous I brought more than half my spicy Filipino fried chicken entrée home with me. The other server wearing the purple BLESS YOUR HEART graphic t-shirt is a hoot and a half. Nice ambience, beautiful dining room and such a funky, cool neighborhood to boot!

Tried the Purple Patch for some authentic Filipino food, when we visited D.C.. We had the sigsig, pork adobo, longanisa. The adobo had a little too much sauce, but everything tasted good and the ambiance was quaint and cozy (we sat outside). Don’t forget to check out their store upstairs for some to-go items!

I ordered fried fish that were so overcooked that was little edible. it was dark, dry and hard, and looked like it had been fried several times. a strange, sugary sauce, pooled among the fish, makes her soggy. my companion ordered bark short ribs that were in fact not short ribs, but potted, a too small expensive part drown in another strange sweet sauce. neither of us could taste the garlic in our garlic rice. Thank you, but no thanks. never again.
I came especially for her ube waffel with fried chicken and ube eis and it was not disappointed! the chicken could be a bit less dry, but the whole dish came together very well! the spicy mango margarita was amazing. I recommend that. I'd get it back when I get back. the service was also amazing. the waiters looked after us very well and were very polite, friendly and attentive.
