Contribute FeedbackLocated in the heart of Dupont Circle, this cozy pizza spot offers a fantastic beer selection and top-quality pizza. While some may find the cauliflower salad lacking, the pizza dough is superb and the service is friendly. Perfect for a late-night dinner, this restaurant may take a bit longer to bring out dishes, but the wait is worth it. Vegans will appreciate the variety of toppings and drink choices available. Overall, the pizzas are solid, with great crust and quality toppings. Don't miss out on the bottarga pie or the melty vegan cheese options. In summary, a must-visit pizza joint in DC.
We met a friend here, pizza was delicious, salad and garlic knots. Service was great . In a great location off DuPont Circle.
Very solid pizza place, more Roman style than neopolitan. Great crisp, quality toppings, excellent cheese. Impressive oven. The pies could do with a bit more sauce and the crust could use a bit more airiness and lightness for me personally, but overall it?s very solid. Highly recommend the bottarga pie with the egg on it- really special and surprisingly delicious. The cauliflower salad is a great way to make yourself feel better about consuming an egregious amount of cheese,
Pizza is 5/5 stars, superb flavours on the macellaio pizza and amazing crispy crust that?s not too thin. The chicken wings also had good flavour but needed to be much crispier.
Great pizza options and an amazing crust! The wings were baked so they weren?t crispy. Perhaps a broil would be a better approach.
First of all this place has an incredible beer menu? so far so good. Then the pizza we ordered was so good too. Very friendly staff and a quaint homey feel makes this a good stop in DC for pizza. There is also outside seating but it was way too hot. Overall I?d say this makes my list of places to eat while in DC
