The unusual setup may seem strange at first, but we found it to be quite cozy during our visit. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making sure we had a great dining experience without being too intrusive. The menu mainly consisted of Asian grilled meats and sliced salads, making it perfect for a lighter meal after the indulgence of the holiday season. Despite other diners in the restaurant, the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet, allowing for comfortable conversation without having to shout. The wine list was short but reasonably priced. Overall, I would highly recommend Pesce 2 to anyone in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Unfortunately, the service was still poor, as they seemed to favor the other table over ours. The noise level would likely be very high when the restaurant is busier. The food was okay, though the selection was limited. The green papaya salad was flavorless. Prices were fair. The cocktail tasted odd and was missing a key ingredient, which was not mentioned until the second round, when we requested more bitters. Only one drink was taken off the bill. Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience and do not recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant should not be a hidden gem - it deserves to be well-known and celebrated.
