Marcel's by Robert Wiedmaier has been DC's premier fine dining establishment for over two decades. Despite the challenges of Covid, we are open five evenings a week with limited capacity and are offering a curbside three-course dinner. We greatly appreciate the support of our loyal customers who have stood by us during these uncertain times. We look forward to the day when we can welcome you back to enjoy fantastic shows at the Kennedy Center, host your private events, and see your maskless smiles once again.

Guests rave about the six-course tasting menu, complete with expertly paired wines that highlight the cuisine’s clean, vibrant flavors. While a few patrons noted minor disappointments, such as portion sizes or specific menu items, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive. The attentive staff, equipped with a warm, familial touch, ensures that every meal feels personalized and memorable. With its Michelin-star pedigree, Marcel’s remains a remarkable choice for those seeking a fine dining experience.
Another wonderful dining experience at Marcel’s as we celebrated my spouse’s birthday! We each did the 5 course option And every bite was delicious. The service was also amazing with a special thanks to Adnane, Moez, and of course Jonathan! We can’t wait to return,
This was our first time dining at Marcel’s since just before the pandemic, and it was wonderful to be back. The exquisite food is what draws us in, but the attentive service and charming atmosphere truly make every visit to Marcel’s a special occasion. Thank you for a lovely experience!
I would give this place 10 stars ??out of 5. The menu is extensive and a tasting menu that has a lot to offer. Our server knew exactly trough out the time what he was doing. We just had the most wonderful dinner and looking forward to come back. The foodis beyond amazing, spectacular and absolutely delicious. The balance of flavor and texture is so well balanced……. we werejust blown away. Highly recommended!
A true fine dining experience. Our main waiter Johnathan was amazing in explaining the menu. We decided to go with a 5 and 6 course experience. All portions are 5 to 6oz big but with 5 courses it was plenty to include a dessert. Everything was perfectlycooked with amazing flavors. They even made it very special for our Anniversary. We tried everything on that menu and every itemwas delicious. We will definitely be back.
