Contribute FeedbackLe Diplomate, located in Washington DC, offers a dining experience that is a mix of highs and lows according to various online reviewers. While some praise the delicious dishes such as the onion soup, lobster, and bread, others find the food to be mediocre. The service is consistently highlighted as excellent, with attentive and helpful waitstaff. The restaurant has a romantic atmosphere that is surprisingly affordable, though some find the portion sizes to be smaller than expected. Overall, Le Diplomate seems to be a popular spot with a good selection of dishes, making it worth a try for those looking for a Parisian dining experience in the heart of DC.
Half roasted chicken with mashed potatoes delicious, hamburger over cooked but tasty, fries still hot, very good. Always love the bread for two.
Disappointing. Average meal for a high price. Steak was cooked medium but lacked flavor. Fries arrived cold. Overall not worth getting through DoorDash esp if you live a few mile away.
The Creme Brulee is extremely smaller than what I expected. On Yelp and Google Reviews, there are photos of a large size Creme Brulee in a tart shape dish and the one I receive was almost the size of a small cupcake. Im extermely disappointed especially considering the cost and price I paid do it.
I didnt receive any utencils and that for me knocked a star out. Roasted Salmon perfectly cooked but the lentils undercooked. French Onion Soup solid 3, wish it had more flavor.
The food was cooked beautifully and was fresh and warm when it arrived. Incredible!
