We enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The cauliflower and zucchini appetizer was delicious and surprisingly light. The potato pancake and ratatouille combo was a favorite, although the spinach gnocchi was a bit bland. The apple strudel was okay, but lacked a strong apple flavor. Overall, the meal was good. We sat in the bar area this time, but would prefer to sit in the quieter back room next time. View all feedback.
What Mariam Gutmann doesn't like about Bistro Bohem:
Advisedthe restaurant we were there for a 65th birthday and hoped to do something special and they offered us nothing. Tried to redeem a Dining Reward which was identified during Open Table booking and the owner claimed he knew nothing about rewards. Would not have booked there if I had known they would not honor my reward. Food adequate, service acceptable but nothing to rave about. Relatively cheap meal for that pa... View all feedback.
Had a great meal with friends for sunday brunch. Everyone really enjoyed their food and they had a great gluten free options.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The Czech-Eastern European cuisine is a breath of fresh air in the DC dining scene. The food is excellent — simple and delicious. We enjoyed pierogis, roasted duck with red cabbage, and apple strudel for dessert. The wine and alcohol selection is unique (make sure to try the grass vodka... you won't go back to Grey Goose). The service from the friendly staff was great. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious — it felt like we had stepped into a small corner cafe in Prague.
I recently checked in at this restaurant expecting a 10% discount for brunch or lunch, but they refused to honor the offer. This was the first time I have ever encountered a business that did not honor a Yelp check in deal. The food was disappointing and I would recommend skipping this restaurant. The Farmers Omelet and Spinach Roasted Tomato Omelet were both priced at $13 and were underwhelming. The Potato Pancake for $4 had a strange texture and did not taste like real potato. Both omelets had an overcooked egg crust that was unappetizing. The toast served with the omelets was placed on top, making it soggy. The service was lacking as well - our order was taken, food was dropped off, and we did not see the server until we had to track her down for the check. We were never checked on to see if we needed anything else. We tried unsuccessfully to request toast instead of soggy bread, as well as pepper and more coffee, but our server was unattentive.
