What User likes about Porchetta District:
my sandwich lover of a friend dragged us to this place, and despite his 100 degrees, I could not be happier. the porchetta was perfectly delicate, and the bits of the fat were lovely (think fat cha siu). we ordered the kunz melt and cubano. while the truffles did not pass through in the spicy truffle aioli, the melt did not need them. both were wonderful to eat and we are happy to come back when we are in the DC area... The sandwich combos are good but I was expecting a ciabatta like bread this was very soft, the worst part however was the giant chunks of fat and the mushiness of the skin, there was absolutely no crackling. I understand that pork belly is fatty, but from my experience its crispy on the outside and a way better ratio of meat to fat. View all feedback.
