Etto, a charming restaurant in DC, promises an exceptional dining experience with its exquisite wood-fired pizzas and an impressive selection of amari. Guests are greeted by a cozy atmosphere, complemented by attentive and professional service. Highlights include delectable pizzas with perfectly blistered crusts and a range of innovative cocktails, though some dishes may seem overpriced. While most patrons rave about the overall experience, a few note concerns over unexpected service charges and occasional odors. Nevertheless, Etto remains a popular hotspot for those seeking quality Italian fare in a vibrant setting.

The folks in here nice enough. But the food is a joke. The salad is basically greens out of a bag with a few cheese shavings on top. The “tuna belly” is essentially chicken of the sea with some olive oil. The pizza crust is thin soft nan bread. Oh,and $16 for a glass of “open order” rose and $14 for an undrinkable glass of Italian red. I’ve had $6/bottle Chiantis thatwere far better. I think they must put the tip on top automatically because I’m sure there are people out there who would bevery unhappy with the experience and take it out on the server.
