Feedback
D'Lena captivates diners with its vibrant ambiance and attentive staff, often praised for their warmth and knowledge. While many appreciate the fresh and flavorful dishes, opinions on the food are divided: some rave about the excellence of items like short rib tacos and guacamole dip, while others find certain dishes bland or poorly executed. Service can be inconsistent, occasionally marked by inattentiveness or missed opportunities to celebrate special occasions. Despite these mixed feelings, D'Lena remains a popular choice, particularly for its unique cocktails, making it a restaurant worth visiting—hopefully on a day when everything aligns perfectly.
DLeña provides a high-quality dining experience every time they are open. The food is fresh, outstanding, and one-of-a-kind. The service and staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Additionally, their cocktails are the best in Washington DC. I always make sure to visit whenever I am in the area. I highly recommend it.
I had a fantastic dinner at dlena. We opted for the vegetarian dishes, which were all delicious. The only downside was the loud and noisy environment, making it difficult to have a conversation due to the close proximity of the tables.
The steak was overcooked, even though I requested it medium rare. The stone plate was extremely hot, causing the steak to splatter oil and butter on me whenever I moved it. The shrimp still had their heads on and were hard to peel. The lemonades were so sour that I couldn't drink them. The only redeeming factor was the delicious guacamole dip.
Anytime I see bottleless food and drink options for brunch I'm there! So I was super excited to try Dleña. The ambience was hamazing, price was good, and the food was very tasty. One thing to keep in mind is that THEY bring out and control the food. Which I wasn't expecting... there was a time our table was completely filled with food and it was a bit upsetting because we couldn't eat everything and most of the food got cold. 4/5
