What BonnieP doesn't like about Al Dente:
I dined at this restaurant a few years ago and the food was excellent. However, I was disappointed with the food during my recent visit. The quality has declined. View all feedback. What Traveler R likes about Al Dente:
Truly a neighborhood gem. House-made pasta is superb, especially the gnocchi fettuccine. Happy Hour among the best in town, if not the very best — 4-7 with regular food items generously discounted with the same quality as regular hours. Servers top-notch, with Dennis setting the pace. Lovely terrace dining. View all feedback.

read moreAl Dente boasts a lively atmosphere, marked by exceptional service and a celebrated happy hour that draws a young crowd. While house-made pastas like gnocchi and fettuccine receive praise, other dishes, including the ribeye and certain appetizers, have left some diners disappointed due to execution issues. Desserts, particularly the Bugie, are notably lackluster. The ambiance is casual yet chic, ideal for families. Although the food can be hit or miss—some found it overly salty or underseasoned—many agree that Al Dente’s strengths lie in its convivial service and impressive focaccia, making it a worthwhile visit for pasta lovers.
We always love Al Dente, which offers consistently good food for good value!
