Alfie Grimshaw's - Warwick

I regret to say that Alfie's has disappointed us once again. Last time we placed an order, it was cancelled because they were unable to process the payment from the website we used, even though the money had already been deducted from our account. The same issue has occurred again. I do not recommend using their services. It would be better to dine elsewhere.

Awful fish chips. Really greasy. So greasy that the oil leaked out of the fish chips box leaked through to the paper bag. Chips were soggy. Worse fish chips ever, will not return. Customer service not that great long wait when not even that busy

Disgusting fish and chips. The chips must have been at least 24 hours old. Shame on you. I'm a regular customer and you server this ****? How dare you, Bhed Chods.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a long time because of some negative reviews, but decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did - the chicken kebab was delicious, and my daughter's small cod portion was more like a normal size. The chips were also plentiful and hot. I was very impressed and thankful for a great meal.

I have tested several fish chips places in Kenilworth and this is the best one (I also order Kebabs from there). The portions are big, there is always a choice between different kababs or fish and the price is reasonable (especially when compared to some other places, nearby) it is just what you want to have from your local fish chips shop. Not sure about some negative reviews here, as I never experienced any problems with the quality of food I can expect that at least some of these entries are made by local competitors who try to offer similar stuff at significantly higher prices.
