Indoor and outdoor seating is avail... read more The Abbey Field sits on the main road, on a Sunday evening it serves food to 9.30pm, which is not true for all pubs locally. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.. plenty so no need to book. Good menu with a special board. Good sized portions served quickly. Quality is high and is good enough for taking your parents, good friend or a date. Staff could not be any nicer, attentive but not annoying. Fair prices for the meal and drinks so £25 per person for two courses and drink. Look at the Greene king APP for deals and discounts. Park in the nearby car park or in a side street and walk a bit further. Good walks nearby, also the old Abbey Field and ruins.
