Indoor and outdoor seating is avail... read more The Abbey Field sits on the main road, on a Sunday evening it serves food to 9.30pm, which is not true for all pubs locally. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.. plenty so no need to book. Good menu with a special board. Good sized portions served quickly. Quality is high and is good enough for taking your parents, good friend or a date. Staff could not be any nicer, attentive but not annoying. Fair prices for the meal and drinks so £25 per person for two courses and drink. Look at the Greene king APP for deals and discounts. Park in the nearby car park or in a side street and walk a bit further. Good walks nearby, also the old Abbey Field and ruins.

They supported the bride and groom throughout the day, making their day thoroughly special. The food was amazing and they catered to all needs, plus an excellent selection of drinks on. Overall a brilliant day made extra special by The Abbey field. I will definitely be coming to try out their food, as it looked lovely when coming out of the kitchen

There wer... read more The staff at this restaurant are fantastic. Despite being understaffed and extremely busy on a bank holiday, they remained professional and courteous. There were only two front of house staff, one bar staff, and the situation in the kitchen was unknown, yet they managed to handle everything well. Green King, please provide more support for your staff.
