Reviews summary
Sextons cafe bakery in Lymm has a reputation for delicious food and friendly service, with highlights being the bakery side's smiles and good service. While some customers have indicated that the cafe area staff may lack hospitality, overall, the establishment serves up quality meals that are generous in portion size. From cherry pie to dark chocolate torte, the dishes are worth the indulgence. Each visit promises pleasant interactions with the staff and a welcoming environment. While the breakfast offerings may not cater to every taste preference, the cooked breakfast options shine alongside freshly baked breads. Don't forget to grab some pastries to-go on your way out!.

Treated myself to breakfast alone this morning- have to say the best scrambled eggs EVER! So light and fluffy and gorgeous brown thick cut toast, washed down with a nice English breakfast tea! Very reasonably priced too ! View all feedback.
What Keith Mason dislikes about Sextons:
They FORGOT to ask us what we wanted and we had to go up and ask whilst they were packing away. We also wanted a cake and they said it was 20% VAT but we worked it out and they charged us 40% VAT instead. View all feedback.

We go to Lymm, by boat, usually once a year and stay for a few days. I can honestly say that Sexton's is the best bakery I have been to EVER. The staff are friendly and tge bread and cakes top notch. I especially enjoyed 3 lovely salad bowls during my stay in Lymm, whilst hubby loved the pies. The ice cream is superb, locally made and we loved tge pairing of pink lemonade sorbet with liquoriche and blackcurrant. On a very hot day we also loved the lemon, cucumber and mint cooler. If you're ever in Lymm do visit Sexton's....we might even come back by car, it's an hour away from home by road! Well done to all at Sexton's.
I have ordered baked potatoes from this restaurant a few times now, and each time they have been undercooked, hard, and lacking in fillings. The food was also lukewarm. This is disappointing considering the prices they charge for these potatoes. This place used to be a great family-run business with high-quality food and good value for money. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case.
Lovely friendly people, the ladies were extremely helpful. They let me bring our little dog into the cafe section. The sandwiches (bacon, egg mushroom) were lovely and full. We are looking forward to our chocolate brownies and vanilla slices later today
By far the best Baker in Cheshire, go early as they see out fast on the popular items.Parking 300 mts,
I have been to Sextons on numerous occasions and would recommend them to everyone. The service and attention to detail is second to none. Karen is an angel and would do anything to help her customer. I think they are the best bakers in the area. Cakes, breads and pasties are delicious. Well done Sextons.

Visited here as a family. originally was ok and beautiful products bake cake. lady in our party asked if there was a toilet and the owner was something sharp and said there were no toilets and they were not a coffee shop...(even if there are seats, and it says coffee shop at the door .... we sat on our drinks and eat and I noticed that the staff looked angry just because the kids laugh. not great hospitality and did not seem like children there. as the food and bakery products were very good.
