This restaurant seems to have a loyal local following, but some guests found the experience lacking. The ambiance was dimly lit and cozy, but furniture was worn. Starters were cold, and mains too spiced for some, although portion sizes were generous. Service was hit-or-miss, with some undesirable incidents. Had a takeaway food excellent as always. One slight problem didn't pack 1 portion of boiled rice so had to walk back to pick up. Were given free poppadoms and sauces thanks . This didn't detract from quality of food , flavoursome as always, recommend trip Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Not been for a few years. What a change now it's changed hands. Vibrant, fun EXCELLENT SERVICE.
Always excellent, service top draw, best in the area.
