Have only been to their Sunday Brunch, but several times. The food is ok, no special creations though. Just out of the box style food. And very limited quantity. (Like there is only ever 4 pancakes and 8 pieces of bacon out at a time). One time they ran out of bacon by 11.20. -and the palace was far from busy. Substandard for a facility like that in my view. Gone Downhill. Apparently they changed chefs a couple months ago. The menu has shrunk to about 1/4 of the previous size, with many of the best items removed. Food is not near as good anymore either ate there twice recently, both times very disappointing. Greasy and tasteless. Likely won't be back.
Limited menu. Since the new chef took over there is a very limited menu. They took away the quesadilla which is a shame, especially the vegetarian one for those that are vegan...very few options. I had a friend that had to order the caesar salad and some cheese melted on bread. Portions are large, but there are just not that many affordable lunch options.
Overall unimpressed. We expected more . Everyone (5 of us) commented that their food tasted like it came from frozen. Even the fries tasted like the potatoes hadn 't been washed before cooking.
Needs more salt the cook, clearly. A group of five of us went, and every single dish was way too salty! There 's a stereotype about old white people loving their salt, so maybe it 's popular among all the retired golfers?? Haha. The fries, the breaded fish, the bolgoni ribs... all left us seriously needing glasses of water. I could have mistaken my bolgoni ribs for salted jerky. There 's salt on the table for a reason! I shouldn 't be wanting LESS salt in my meals, because there 's nothing I can do to fix that! Other flavours in comparison were extremely diluted. The ginger beef might has well have been dry ribs, and the hot wings weren 't even as spicy as your ordinary everyday buffalo sauce. On the plus side, the prices were fair for the portions, the steak was A+, and their soups of the day were acceptable. Will be trying other restaurants in Warman before returning here, that 's for sure.
