It was innovati... read more Had a pleasure to dine in this place, celebrating my husband’s birthday. We were very pleasantly surprised with the dishes and the presentation. It was innovative, perfectly balanced and executed. Thanks to the chef and his team! However, unfortunately, the service has not been well organized. The staff were cold, unfriendly, sommelier has forgotten and mixed our wine orders. The table has been left dirty on a few occasions. The only positive feel was when the host, Stefanie, came over to our table to make sure we are doing well. This was sweet, however we expect nothing less from a 2 star Michelin restaurant. The last, but not least is an overall atmosphere of the place. It was cold and uninviting. Black colors in the design as well as missing white linen cloths on a table has made an impact. The music on the background was pleasant and the aromas in the restaurant were quite nice. To summarize this was the first time we felt uninvited in the restaurant of such class. Nevertheless, we have enjoyed the culinary experience, trying to look past the cold reception. We hope that the restaurant will take into consideration our remark and look into their staff organization.

We came to celebrate our anniversary at Castor and boy did they deliver! The menu was very well thought and you definitely get more than the actual courses, between bites here and there and additional small desserts in the end (on top of the actual dessert! . The service was of course impeccable as you would expect from a Michelim star restaurant, and the staff were professional and knowledgeable. Bonus points for Atelier Rebul toiletries : I definitely recommend this place for special occasions!

We chose a combination of animal and vegetable dishes which were all full of taste and elegance. The foie gras was exceptional and the YOUNG CARROT dish was simple yet delicious. The CAULIFLOWER dish was a delight, complimented by sea herbs and wild celery. The RISOTTO 'CARNAROLI ' with veal tail and morels was amazing, as was the FARM EGG dish with morels and pea. The service was polite and efficient, and the wine selection was nice. Desserts including RASPBERRY yogurt and 'MEXICO ' CHOCOLATE were fresh and balanced. Overall, a faultless and enjoyable dining experience deserving of its two stars, with potential for a third star in the future. Vegetarian options are available and parking is limited. Wheelchair accessibility is limited due to gravel paths. Worth a visit!
