I love that there is an alternative when driving on the freeways and that they cater for a variety of dietary requirements. They have amazing Coffee, and the staff are eager to help. My only issues with olivers is that they are rather pricey for the size of the portions, and that the music is terrible. Tables could generally be cleaner but once prompted the staff are quick to act :). TRY THE BEANS far better than chi... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Oliver's:
I was absolutely appalled at the cost and sizing of the pita pockets.Once I got the bag containing my Pita I opened it and thought half of my order was missing. I went back to the check out to pick up the 'forgotten' half, only to be told that that's the whole pita. Basically, I payed $11 for half a sandwich. It didn't even taste that nice either. No wonder every one chooses the unhealthy fast food alternatives like Mc... View all feedback.
I arrived home on Melbourne Cup day and decided to grab a drink at a local bar. I was happy to see that they had my favorite Nut Bar available, so I got one. The lady at the bar informed me about the public holiday surcharge, but I had already seen the sign and was prepared for it. I appreciated her honesty as I know that holiday surcharges can be annoying for many people, myself included. The staff member working that day was very kind and asked me how my day had been. The food was decent, but it reminded me more of a supermarket option rather than a specialized restaurant. Overall, it was a standard choice and although it may not have been the best fit for me personally, I had a pleasant experience.
Although not inexpensive, the double decker Club Sandwich was freshly made and delicious. The staff were very friendly. There was no available seating, so we enjoyed our meal in the car, which was actually quite spacious.
My friend and I were looking for a quick bite on our way home in Melbourne. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection and the healthy choices of food. I had a Pita pocket and a smoothie, which I really enjoyed. I also liked their variety of healthy sandwiches. The only downside was the higher cost compared to other options in Wallan, but you definitely get what you pay for.
Excellent space for coffee and protein balls to help with a long ride. Good service and good price
Thought we would try Olivers selected an organic eggs and lettuce sanga with an orange juice. Was very surprised that package was date/time stamped when manufactured to ensure freshness.Even more surprised orange juice 100% Australian from Wyong NSW.Wifes salad very fresh and filling. Sitting between two other fast food outlets I quietly stated that I think I would pay the extra money as I felt pretty good about both supporting Australian producers and suppliers and better filled up for the long drive home.
