As a local I was interested to see what had become of this winery. Contentious Character is a wonderful place for lunch and wine tasting. Wines - good selection of previous Vineyard and new. Excellent knowledge of young chap who assisted. Bought 6 bottles and will be back. Lunch - what a treat to sit outdoors and have a fabulous array of food. Monday of June long weekend we decided to meet up with a friend at the restaurant, we were running late (30 minutes) and in that time our friend was asked once if someone else was coming and given a bottle of water - no glasses.We arrived and no one came near us for at least 15 minutes and then we asked for glasses and the menu, we waited another 15 minutes and no one came near us.
