Be sure to make a reservation in advance. The prices are on the higher side, and the service may be a bit slow, but the food is outstanding.
The prices are on the higher side, but the food is quite delicious. The dining area has a romantic and cozy atmosphere.
This place is fantastic, especially as a welcome break along Highway 1 when there aren’t many food options available.
The food was mediocre and overpriced. I stayed at the hotel and dined there both nights, experiencing a mix of positives and negatives. The menu is quite limited. In the lounge, they offered a brief bar menu, which is what we ordered on the first night. It wasn't bad; the five spice ribs and fish and chips were enjoyable. However, on the second night, we ate in the main restaurant, which had a menu that was mostly a repeat of the lounge, with just a few additional entrees. I ordered the flank steak, but it didn't taste like beef at all. It seemed as if it had been microwaved—tough, gray, and nearly flavorless. Interestingly, the restaurant was busy, likely because there are no other options without a long drive. They probably feel they can serve whatever they like, knowing that guests feel trapped.
