Harverster
Description
At this local Harvester, diners appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere and attentive service, often praising specific staff members for their outstanding hospitality. Many guests rave about the quality of the food, particularly the beautifully presented dishes and well-stocked salad bar. However, consistent issues with cleanliness—especially in restrooms—have marred the experience for some patrons. Complaints about food temperature and service delays also surface, detracting from occasional celebrations. Despite these concerns, the restaurant's charming ambiance, convenient location, and overall good food keep families returning, eager to enjoy another dining experience.

Currently seated at a table in the restaurant, I am taken aback by the unprofessional behavior of the kitchen staff, who are loud and swearing, particularly two girls - one blonde and one with dark hair - both wearing hats. Despite this, my meal, consisting of chicken and chips, was cooked well and I received good table service. However, my dessert, a chocolate fudge cake, was disappointing due to the cheap and odd tasting chocolate. I observed my meal sitting on the hot plate for approximately 10 minutes while staff chatted nearby, but luckily it was still hot when it arrived at my table.
During our stay in Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games, we decided to dine at this restaurant for its all-day service and child-friendly atmosphere. We also preferred its location on the outskirts to avoid any road closures.
Many thanks to Erin who served our table of 14 tonight. Food and service great as always. Erin even remembered the group from previous visits. Thanks Erin
Been going to this Harvester for many years and always been a good experience as a disabled person. For some unknown reason they have decided to change the locks on the disabled toilet and now my Radar key doesn't work! This is not acceptable as the Radar key is recognised countrywide and is on possibly 95% of the disabled facilities, so now I cant use the toilet without asking a member of staff and waiting for them to get the key! This is embarrassing, as an adult and especially when the toilet is needed urgently and when the resturant is busy... I will be taking this up with management.
