Description

The Smelter cafe in Wallaroo offers a delightful experience for coffee lovers and those looking for a light lunch or brunch. The food is reasonably honest, with generous serving sizes and quick service. The venue is clean, and the staff are super friendly and efficient. Special mention goes to Dave's gluten-free fish and chips, which require a 30-minute notice but are worth the wait for a safe and delicious meal. We recently spent four days in wallaroo and had breakfast at the smelter cafe every morning plus a couple of coffees during the day. Best breakfast and coffee you could want, excellent cafe and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wallaroo.

Stumbled across The Smelter while walking down the main streets of Wallaroo. Ordered coffee, vanilla slice, cauliflower salad and vegetable frittata. Drinks and food outstanding quality. Clean venue. Super friendly staff. Excellent prices. Advice … do not walk past. Pop in and treat yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Super busy here in Wallaroo on last day of 2022 but even though they’re peddling like crazy behind the counter food and drinks are coming out at an amazing pace. All smiles and happy faces makes for a happy place to be. Well worth a re visit.
