Stopped by Taco Bell on I80 last night, and the girl who took my order was extremely rude and got my order wrong. When I pointed out the mistake, she kept arguing with me and insisted it was my fault. Thankfully, someone from the back called a young employee over who was very kind, apologized, and gave me a refund. Taco Bell really needs to reconsider who they put in charge of customer service, especially since their menu has plenty of options worth getting right.
The girl who took my order was quite unfriendly and rude. On the bright side, the food was tasty. I considered trying something different, but ultimately chose to go elsewhere to avoid interacting with the cashier again.
At Taco Bell, there was no one available to take orders at the register, and the entire menu was overpriced compared to a typical Taco Bell location outside of a truck stop. I ended up going to Arby's across the street instead.
The burrito folding skills have returned, and they're toasting the queseritos again. However, I still feel the need to order and pay for extra ingredients just to make them a decent size.
This is the only Taco Bell in the U.S. that I genuinely enjoy visiting. I usually place my order through the mobile app while parked, and when I walk inside, my order is always ready and accurate. The best part is that I’ve never had any issues after eating here. If this location weren't good, Iowa 80 would have replaced it with another restaurant within 30 days. Thousands of people eat here daily, and many are too busy to leave a positive review, which is a bit disheartening.
