Have had better curries from supermarket. Very disappointed

Egg options on top of jalfrezi by Shans also to be commended. The top waiter at Shans very attentive, poppadums and cobras laid out before we could get our bearings. Even the chef at Shans emerged to check on health status of ageing corps after producing his first ever phaal. Tried to ascertain recipe but a closely guarded secret. Excellent service including the discourse about the health benefits of probably the most nutritious meal ever ordered. Portion sizes ok, price in the upper quartile but still well worth it.

The food arrived on time and was served hot. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. I only managed to snap photos of the starters (Prawn purée and chicken tikka) but they were also delicious. Highly recommended!

Sizzling starter bulke... read more Arrived after 1 hour 20 minutes. Dishes lacked any rounded spice flavour but just overloaded with cayenne pepper to render them inedible. Sizzling starter bulked up with low quality chicken wings I usually live this at an Indian). Dissapointing doesn 't quite cover it. Worst curry takeaway. I have had. Play it again Shan? No thanks change the record mate
