I liked this place and the tea cookies. Make sure you go until October 30, as it will be your last day. It's so sad that old school places close. But I'm grateful I could try it before it turns off. The line moved quickly and the selection was limited due to the forthcoming closing. The workers were friendly and efficient. View all feedback.
It is always a pleasant experience when I come here. The ladies who work here are so friendly and helpful. Every cookie here is delicious! My favorites and have to try are the Poi and Coconut and the Kawara cookies. They also sell Taro chips in a variety of flavors, a variety of arare, and various types of Mui fruits. During holidays they always have sweet holiday theme baskets and gifts. I wish I could find her cookies in stores in Hawaii, but it shows that if I regret what almost always, I will make this trip from the North Shore because it is worth it.
One of a kind in Waipahu, in the back of Toyota dealers sells Japanese tea cookies called senbei. Freshly baked and a variety for everyone. Friendly service a d free samples also.
Yummy senbei. Tried a new flavor kabocha spice and it was delicious. Also was offered factory rejects at a substantial discount. Needless to say they were just as delicious (not sure why they were considered rejects).
I really appreciate how well-organized the store is, and despite arriving just a few minutes before closing, I felt truly welcomed as a customer. I enjoyed the way the family history of plantation life was showcased, along with some nostalgic elements like vintage cans and pictures. This really highlighted the lasting legacy of a family business in Hawaii. Great job!
This place brings back fond childhood memories. They have the best tea cookies on the island!
