What 4382 doesn't like about Greyhound Inn:
Didn't eat here just stayed over one night. Stables have been made into rooms which are somewhat tired and our bathroom was a disgrace. Owners don't seem to care. Beds comfortable. One satchel of coffee! No. Could do better. Shame really because this is a beautiful village. Try the tea shop just up the road on the left, cakes etc. to die for and good service. View all feedback. What RomanRemains likes about Greyhound Inn:
Six of us visited here two nights running for dinner and had an outstanding experience. The host was congenial; and efficient in making sure the service was second to none. The staff were very friendly, responsive and attentive and the food was top notch. The home made steak and ale pies were a real stand out the best we've had anywhere for many a year. read moreThe Greyhound in Wadhurst has received mixed reviews from customers, with some praising its traditional charm and delicious Sunday roast, while others complained of rude staff and unkempt conditions. The pub's welcoming atmosphere and good selection of beers were highlighted, although some experienced long waits for food and poor service. Despite its flaws, the Greyhound remains a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, with its central location making it convenient for events at Wadhurst Castle. Overall, the pub offers a classic pub experience with some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and customer service.
Had a lovely Sunday carvery meal with a good choice of meats and veg. All cooked well and very tasty.
Great delicious and fresh food in a traditional pub. Menu is diverse and there is much to choose. A nice reception and good service.
Friendly welcome, nice food would definitely visit again
