The Ship Inn - Wadebridge
The Ship Inn
Description
After reading reviews, we decided to try out this restaurant for Sunday lunch. Our experience was a bit of a mixed bag. While the beef was tough and the vegetables were not what we expected, the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. On the other hand, another visitor had a fantastic experience, praising the friendly service, delicious food, and accommodating staff for dietary restrictions. However, another diner was disappointed with their meal, finding the chicken tough and the risotto bland. Despite this, they still found the pub itself to be cozy and clean with friendly staff. In contrast, another guest had a wonderful time at the restaurant, enjoying the vegan options and quick service. One happy diner raved about the cheese fondue and praised the staff for their friendliness. Finally, a guest was thoroughly impressed with the efficiency of service, delicious set menu, and overall pleasant dining experience. Overall, while there were some ups and downs, the majority of reviews highlighted positive aspects such as attentive service, tasty food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Very good pub. Walked in without a reservation. Found a table straight away. Speedy service and quality food. Not too far a walk from the premier inn Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
We have been having our Sunday lunch quite regularly. As our last experience in St tudy changed management and had different ideas What the ship has for us is the vegetarian Wellington, not found anywhere in the local area. What the ship lacks (in the retro pub refurb in inverted comers is the friendly welcome and a feeling of a local establishment that leaves it's welcome where it matters hospitality and food. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
Lovely Christmas meal and party. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A great, friendly pub where we had an evening meal. The food choices were extensive. Such an array of choice. The portions were such that we couldn't fit a dessert in. Some people had pizza left, so the staff arranged boxes to be taken home. Brilliant atmosphere, somewhere to park and great value. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Burger
