Recent dining experiences at this restaurant have been notably inconsistent. A decline in freshness and the warmth of traditionally made dishes has led some loyal customers to limit their visits. Though there's potential for positive moments, the transition under new management seems to have created challenges in both food preparation and order accuracy, leaving many hoping for a return to the establishment’s former glory.

The restaurant has definitely changed, and I’m not certain it’s for the better. Since it was taken over by a Chicago company, I haven't been there as often, so my memories might not align with the current experience. The bread doesn’t taste the same, and some dishes that used to be made to order now seem to be kept warm under a heat lamp, losing that fresh-from-the-kitchen quality. Perhaps I’m being too harsh, but what was once a regular haunt for us has become a place we only visit occasionally. I hope they can rediscover their identity. I plan to return, likely in 2023.
I just left this restaurant, and I really hate to give it a one-star rating because the person at the drive-thru was really nice. However, the individual who prepared my burger should not be working in the food industry. Honestly, the burger was so messy, with sauces dripping everywhere that it ruined my fresh outfit before I even had a chance to take a bite. I'm furious! Who would think it was acceptable to serve that to a paying customer? I can't believe it didn't make a mess for them too. How disgusting is that? Shame on the manager for showing a complete lack of respect for customers and clearly having no quality control. I'm trying to keep my anger in check over the sheer incompetence. I will definitely not be returning, especially at night.
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. I had a coupon for a free Whataburger with the purchase of medium fries and a drink, but I didn't pay attention to the terms of the offer. Because of that, we ended up ordering more fries and drinks than we actually needed. However, the staff at the counter were very accommodating and issued a refund, even giving me back more than I should have received. The food was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the new white chocolate raspberry shake. As always, the service was outstanding.
I placed an order for biscuits and gravy online, expecting it to be ready within 5 to 7 minutes. I showed up at 7 AM after ordering at 6:50, but didn’t get my food until 7:30. I asked about my order twice, but no one seemed to know its status. Rather than making a fresh order, they finally located my original one, which was cold when I received it. I’ve decided not to come back as a regular customer.
