Oh wow! It's so nice to try something totally different than what we are used to. We have made Chicken Curry at home and love it but the one served here was double delicious! My sister has been raving about Naan flatbread and I finally tried it. I orderedthe garlic flavored one and was hooked on first bite for sure. I ordered the Vegetable Stir Fry and my husband ordered theChicken Tikka Masala. The waitress just answered our questions but she wasn't very helpful nor did she make us feel welcome. Itwas our first time visiting and it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. Food didn't take long to come out and we willdefinitely be back for more! The sweet tea was good too.
Fresh, delicious food with friendly and prompt service! The decor is simple but nice. Indian music plays softly. I had the Bhuna Lamb (spicy) with Garlic Naan. The flavor was well balanced and very tasty! I would like to try the buffet next time. It's served Saturdays and Sundays, 11 AM 2:30 PM. Definitely coming back!
Honestly I'm upset I cannot give this place 10 stars. This is my wife and I's favorite restaurant in Waco. Our favorite thing to do is bring someone new here and it always lives up to the hype. If you have not been here go and order some samosas and anynumber of entrees. Also very important that you do not skip out on an order of Naan bread because simply put it is the best Ihave ever had.
Excellent Indian lunch, everything was seasoned nicely, piping hot, and delicious!! Server was knowledgeable, pleasant, and efficient. My spicy entree 'chicken karahi ' was wonderful especially with the fluffy, light biryani rice. I didn 't leave adrop on my plate! The beef samosas were the best I 've ever had -full of flavor, with a great dipping sauce. Naan bread was alsoserved in a basket- fresh and good. The chai marsala hot tea was also very good. I appreciate being served on real plates, realsilverware with linen napkins, and hearing traditional Indian/Pakistani music.
Well I found taste to be not up to mark as Indian food taste. The paneer 65 was not tasty. My frnds they like butter chicken and lamb and prawns curry. But I have paneer kadai and it wasn?t that tasty. Okay okay experience it was. I had panipuri too thetaste of Paani was like jal jeera water..!
