A great, cozy restaurant in Volkach Everything is perfect here, rarely have we had such great food and the service deserves 6 stars We are passing through and have already made a reservation for tomorrow
Great restaurant, and although it's not yet listed on the menu, they have a good selection for people with gluten intolerance—I was personally made a gluten-free breaded schnitzel for my schnitzel party today! The owner is friendly and always takes the time to listen to suggestions and praise from his guests. The restaurant itself is incredibly cozy, clean, and has a charming, rustic feel!
A few friends and I went to Torbäck for dinner tonight – it's always been a great place, but tonight they had something special. We'd arranged with the owner beforehand to have pork knuckle – it's not usually on the menu, but they're obviously very accommodating when you ask. What can I say? The knuckle was divine. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and exactly how you'd want it. Add to that a good Krautheim beer, a relaxed atmosphere, and a host who really takes care of things. This is what makes dining out enjoyable – uncomplicated, honest, and absolutely delicious. If you're in Volkach and fancy some good Franconian cuisine, you should definitely stop by. Maybe they'll have pork knuckle again. Highly recommended!

Great kitchen Super Service What more could you want Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Reserved today on Christmas Day with 13 people. Unfortunately, it was an absolute failure. Goose leg, not a disaster because of the salad plate, red cabbage was served when you asked, sauce only came when asked, plate for the goose leg came without sauce. You could only order drinks once, the service staff wasn't interested in the empty glasses . Fries with the schnitzel come almost cold. Very disappointing across the board. We don't even want to talk about the waiting time until the first meal came. We won't recommend this restaurant in the future and won't make a reservation there ourselves. It's a shame because it was extremely good under the management of the last tenants. Very, very unfortunate.
Wonderful food. All requests for a delicious vegetarian meal were catered for. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were lucky to get a table here because we forgot to make a reservation. Many people were turned away after our arrival. The staff was friendly and professional. Menus brought, orders taken and drinks brought under 10 minutes. Food was... excellent. My husband had Wiener Schnitzel, who was tender and a civilized part. Too many restaurants offer huge portions that are not manageable. I had a jackass that had big crispy cracks. Wines were local and very good. We will definitely eat here again, but we will make a reservation first.
I spent a night in Volkach with my best friend and we already asked some locals for lunch where to go for dinner and Torback was recommended. Not only was the greeting so warm and friendly and the waitress made sure we got a lovely table, but the food was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the house marinated salmon and a duck and had the porcini ravioli as my head. They serve their own wine, which was also very nice. All in all, I can recommend this small, cozy restaurant in the heart of Volkach! Make a reservation!
Visit this beautiful small town with local friends and were brought to this restaurant. I had a half part of Rahmschnitzel, who was very tasty and my friend had French wedding dinners he said was fabulous.
We both say how great our meals are. I'm vegetarian and he loves his flesh. Here is Pork the best and this restaurant had the best of both!!
We went their twice on our 4 day stay. Their own wine is excellent and on one occasion we had the seasonal chanterelles with the traditional bread dumpling and the other day we had to have the franconian Bratwurst (sausage fried) with Sauerkraut. The portion...where for us on the large side. Both times the meal was good, so the service and of course the wine.
