Chicken and waffles als... read more The drive to the place is fun, and the deck is great. The food however is not impressive at all. Hamburger was dry and lacked seasoning. Chicken and waffles also lacked seasoning and tasted like it was fried in old oil. Service was ok. Seemed odd though that the place wasn't too busy, plenty of seats open under the misting area, but they sat us at one of tables that wasn't close, we ended asking to move because with 100+ temps we were not sitting in the heat like that.

Food was good. Service was attentive. It's a little off the beaten path, and parking is extremely limited. When we were there it was very hot and the water was very low. I'm sure our experience would have been more enjoyable if weather hadn't been 100+ degrees. It is an open venue, probably great in the spring.
