Contribute FeedbackA recent dinner at a Virginia Beach restaurant left diners disappointed due to poorly prepared food, slow service, and lax mask wearing. On the bright side, another visitor praised an excellent lamb chop dish, while a different group found the food and service exceptional. One couple celebrated an anniversary with delicious food and thoughtful service, while a family raved about the quality of the crab legs and other dishes. Overall, opinions were mixed, with some diners emphasizing the stunning atmosphere and great service, while others found the experience lacking.
Had an early dinner, elegant for special occasion. filet was tasteful and delicate.
I took my friend out to celebrate his birthday, everything was wonderful
Chops is lovely, near oceanfront, classy restaurant. We were quickly seated, served water and hot bread/butter.we opted for prefixed menu. Each course had several options. We started with the fried scrimp , perfectly fried pair of shrimp with dipping sauce. We each had fish of the day which was flounder topped with crabmeat served on generous bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and cheesecake. Both delicious. We would definitely recommend for special occasion, a little pricey for everyday dining.
Caesar salad was fine except much too much mayo! A third scallop would have been nice with my wife's order.
The service and atmosphere were fantastic. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. The food and presentation were great. This was our first visit, but will surely return when in the area again.
