Stopped in for a sweet after eating at La Reyna just up the street. Not the donut and muffin type of bakery, more akin to the types of goodies that one finds in a Mexican bakery. However, I did see donuts on their FB page, they might sell those out early. I bought one of the sweet butter things, I forget what it was called, but it was very large. I wish I had had a hot cup of tea to go with it, but alas I had no tea... View all feedback.

However, I did see donuts on their FB page, they might sell those out early. I bought one of the sweet butter things, I forget what it was called, but it was very large. I wish I had had a hot cup of tea to go with it, but alas I had no tea for the trip home to Cedar Rapids. The owner was very friendly, and was telling me how blessed he was to be able to open up in Vinton, less than two weeks ago. He told me that they are also open for breakfast, and will whip up whatever you choose, since they open at 6 am at the request of locals.
