Exactly the kind of informal breakfast joint you'd expect (and hope) to find in this sleepy harbor village. Locals who all know each other come and go, sharing tables and anecdotes while the salt-of-the-earth waitress keeps everyone's coffee mugs full. Breakfasts are simple and hearty with generous portioning and no-nonsense style of service. Open 7 days a week when I visited in late September 2021. View all feedback.
What A Janeth Molina doesn't like about Surfside:
Went to eat breakfast with my family. We had 7 people in our group. Owner saw some of us got coffee at the bakery. She got really angry. Started yelling at us. She refused to serve breakfast. She was extremely impolite, rude and nasty. View all feedback.
My family and I went there not knowing what to expect, but my goodness we loved the environment, the workers, the food, and the sense ambiance. My family and I got to have a very lovely conversation with them and we went there 3 days in a row. truly loved this place and the people there. Will miss it for sure. The wait time for the food was a bit long, but it was totally worth it

Fiance and I stopped in for breakfast while on the island. Great food, great prices, friendly staff.

I liked it, pancakes we're good, small place, don't expect much, but would go for breakfast any time.
