I'm not sure if it's related to COVID or not, but nothing else seems to open for lunch on a regular basis, which is quite strange. The staff is very friendly, and the food and drinks are great.

When the server checked on our meals, she graciously apologized for the cold fries and offered to have them refried. It's a pity that we were so full from lunch because the dessert menu looked incredible. Overall, this was our first visit to the Sand Bar, and if we have a chance to return to Vinalhaven Island, we will definitely be back to dine here again.

The pricing is also quite odd; I ordered the same three dishes on three consecutive days and each time the price was different, which was quite amusing! Overall, I’d rate the food a 3, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 3.
