Matthew's Seafood House

What happened to Matthew’s!? We used to love coming here but the food was not great today. Everything tasted like it was either from a can or pre frozen. And very expensive. It’s not worth it anymore…sadly.

Always a great place to have good drinks and food on Fire island. Amazing view and great staff. Thanks Brenden our server, he was great!

Fire Island’s best restaurant with amazing waterfront view and delicious seafood ?. Baked clams were sooo good, and so were the calamari, truffle fries, salmon, bbq tuna ?. Manager, bartenders and waiters were so kind and took good care of us the entire time. We enjoyed our wonderful dinner and definitely will come back! Thank you for making my first visit to Fire Island a perfect memorable experience!Remember to make reservations ahead of time on the weekend!

Great service horrible food. Not sure if they’ve ever tried it themselves. Only thing that’s worth eating is the baked clams. Cool atmosphere, great for bar food and drinks but if your looking for a good meal, skip this place.

Absolutely best spot in Ocean Beach. Seafood super fresh and service was exceptional.
