We came for a sandwich and had the worst Prego got in Portugal (we stayed almost one month). Additionally we had to change our baby, they have no changing table and just unfriendly did not care about it. View all feedback.

This place offers tasty cheap lunch. Nothing fancy and the food is alright but it's good if you're looking to not spend much and the staff are polite. Our peaceful lunch was somewhat ruined when the old woman in the house opposite turned the radio on at 100 decibels which was so irritating that we had to leave early -_-

Good food. We were offered breakfast by the hotel here. It is a good choice. It os not a buffet but you get plenty and it is tasteful.
We found this little cafe last year whilst wandering Gaia. Did not want our Tapas restaurant, but wanted a big snack. Walked up from the waterfront between Sandemans and Porto Cruz. About 150 metres up was a little cafe grill with outside seating and a cheap inside. That is where it stopped. Yes realistically priced, but the quality is outstanding. The staff speak good English and they have multi lingual menus. The pastries are amazing, the choices are good. Drinks are comprehensive. It was great last September when the Porto University students used the cafe as a stop during Freshers Week hazing - what a laugh. When a senior had a hard moment the staff helped. Now been back several times and the staff remember you. Away from the tourist area by just a few metres, but that has a major price/portion effect. Friendly and big value for your Euro.
