To our surprise, we were treated to one of the greatest dining experiences we have ever had. Our server, Anne Catherine, introduced herself and sat down with us, explaining the menu. She was attentive throughout the meal, as was all the staff. With her advice, we chose to share the sea bass, sweet potatoes, and roast vegetables. All were cooked to perfection. Wine and drinks was paired beautifully. For dessert, we had the citrus surprise, which looked like a lemon, but exploded with amazing citrus flavors when she struck it with a spoon. Everything was fantastic. What set our experience apart was the joy and love poured into our meal, from all the staff to the 28 and 26 year old talented chefs. Everyone cared; they were proud of their work; they took service to the highest possible level. Guests beside us (a Scottish couple and another from Australia) were similarly delighted with their different selections of meat and praws. Every once in a while, you have an experience that sets the standard. For us, our meal at Tasco was such a moment. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are sad to be leaving Porto. We look forward to returning!

The fo... read more The space is not big, but even without a reservation they allow to stay in a kind of bar, overlooking the restaurant and drinking some amazing cocktails. The food is to share but the quantity is huge. It serves 3 adults. The division is cosy with wood on the floor and walls. The service is one of the best I had. Informado but very professional and friendly. The price is high for Portuguese, this is why, during our stay we only heard foreign languages. But it worth the gastronomic experience.

From the second we came to the employees were fantastic, they really seem to love their job and know how to feel welcome. Where we had an allergy in the group, they ensured that they put something with pepper on the side or in seperate pots. The idea behind the restaurant is to share the experience, and when ordering, the hosts will structure their meals so that the individual meals work together. That was really nice. Beverages were all fantastic from beer to cocktails- it was a really special meal, certainly in the top 10 in my life. When the bill came, I honestly thought there was a mistake - it was good over £100 less than I thought it was! Regarding dishes, my favorites were the octopus and the shrimps. If you get the chance to go here, you should definitely!
