Very much enjoyed our Dourum Experience! The wine of course, but service and knowledge shared by Ana was outstanding. Not a surprise to learn she’s a sommelier. On top of that, genuinely friendly. View all feedback.
Mais uma vez um pouco fora das multidões de turistas. Uma degustação muito saborosa com comida local.
We went to one of the more famous wine tasting spots at first, but they were a bit snooty and acting like they were too busy. We wandered down a quiet block and stumbled onto Piano Douro Valley. We were greeted immediately by the proprietor and we explained that we only liked dry wines. He suggested a tasting of three glasses (rose, white, and red) which were pretty much full glasses. He explained where they come from and told us a little about the wines. It was like 3.50 euro. We also added a meat and cheese platter that was incredible and full. We liked the wine so much we wanted to buy a bottle. We were afraid they would be expensive a la Napa, but the bottle we loved the most (the rose, unusually for us) was 5.50 euro. Definitely give this place a visit and buy their wines!
Very nice space and excellent wine, off the beaten tracks. Open until 8pm. Great for a few drinks and chill out.
Service and taste menu of wines were pretty good.
Very good wine bar! Discovered by chance and were not disappointed: very relaxed atmosphere, great service with good advice. We were there 2x and had both port and white wine each adapted to our preferences! It was a great experience highly recommended.
