We’ve now visited this lovely churrasqueria only twice but are immediately treated like one of the family. We get the same waitress each time and she understands English and I try to speak in my broken Portuguese. The service is very good, the food is very traditional. Quantities are huge and seemingly smothered in some form of potatoes irrespective of the dish. They have created a wonderful old world design in the restaurant and decorated with old farm like implements. Seating is generous and the ever present television is present. We’ve eaten chicken assada as well as Bacalhau assada no Brasil. Both are good but be aware…..lots of salt. This place works great for us as we can walk or drive from our home but it could be too far removed for tourists that do not have a car. Anyways………well worth venturing off the beaten track for this top notch churrasqueria.

Using Uber, 2 euros to get there meanwhile coming back to Porto is a lovely 20 min walk downhill. New restaurant where is possible to taste Portuguese specialties outside the touristic ring. Very economic and prefect for family and groups. Lot of workers and locals, has been a pleasure.
