Having checked out the mixed reviews of Casa Branca we were not quite sure what to expect but I have to say,if you're looking to celebrate fine dining at affordable prices, then this is one place you should visit. There is a relaxing low key...ambience and exemplary service from the delightfully enthusiastic, friendly staff who are happy to take you through the menu. We were so impressed on our first visit that we went back again on our penultimate night. Food is beautifully prepared and presented and the portions are generous. Highlights for me included the chestnut soup with crispy bacon, cod stuffed with olives and wrapped in ham and best of all a hare risotto. My partner was not let down by either of her main dishes of silver bass and turbot. There is a very good value wine list to compliment the food. Certainly not the cheapest place to eat but for those special holiday occassions it's hard to beat
We went there 5 times in a row for dinner, that's how good this place was! Every time we ordered different dishes and every single time we were amazed by the delicious taste and combination of flavors. Greatest customer service!
Our Airbnb host recommended casa branca has made the booking for us. I had asked him to order a cake (it was a birthday for one of our party of 6) young they have expelled the boat. we were greeted like old friends. have been felt very special. big talk with the maitre d. he gave us every free white harbour that was completely unexpectedly delicious. all the dishes were beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and tastyly lubricated. at the end of the meal, the surprising birthday cake was brought to the table with candles. it was really delicious that we were all treated with a glass espumante. a wonderful experience, highly recommended.
Excellent from beginning to end! location ambiente service eating wine harbour! would highly recommend this restaurant.
