This is a snack bar. It is family run and very friendly. The place is comfortable and very good value for money. The clientele is almost exclusively Portuguese which is always a good sign. The most wonderful asset of this place is the view over both the Douro river and the old Porto. It is simply spectacular - and particularly at sunset! You would be amazed! Well worth the very short climb up the hill from the Luis B... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cafe Miraporto:
Nos alojamos cerca de esta cafetería, y fuimos a desayunar un día. Todos pedimos un café con leche, zumo de naranja natural y una tostada de tomate y aceite. Todo estaba bueno, pero sólo había una persona preparando todo y el zumo lo exprimía con un exprimidor eléctrico pero no automático, entonces el desayuno se hizo de rogar. La tostada era un sándwich con unas rodajas de tomate. Pagamos 5,25 € cada uno. En general... View all feedback.
I had a fabulous thun-fish salad and wee for under 7euro. it seems to be a local fave and I like that. halfway through my meal a native came in and called to the owners to turn the game. I don't follow, but can't argue with that. they have a feeling when I move here, and I could, I need to get a team. sound budget choice.
Great location drink an excellent vino verde after a delicious meal in the Gaia staff so well weeping some of their last reviews get a life. it is a caffe and a very good
This restaurant is up above the waterfront and overlooks the river with a great view of Porto and the Doura River. I had the soup of the day, which was a good vegetable soup and the salad. My husband had the Francesinha sandwich, which he...really enjoyed. This was his second time of having this specialty of Porto and this one, was very good. The waitress spoke excellent English, which helped and we had a table right at the window. There is also a couple of tables, for outdoor seating. The cost for our lunches and bottled water to drink was under 14 euros.
It's doesn't look much from the outside but the Miraporto was a great find during our break. Located near our accommodation it was a friendly place to stop in for a drink or bite to eat. Very friendly staff who spoke good English. Feels authentic...as well with locals visiting. Beer on tap as well as the fridge. A good range of choice for both alcoholic and soft drinks.
Walking down from the Yeatman towards the city, we would stop here to have proper coffee with Natas, while sitting outside and looking over the city city below us. Great!
