Really happy I found this place while in the area, the menu looks nice and even though it could be a bit deceiving in terms of prices, it's in the end OK. The reason for this is that fish is priced by kilogram and not...by plate and I was a bit unsure how big the servings were going to be. The starters which included bread, ham and melons were not really fresh. The served bread was old and dry. The melons tasted like they were already cut a few hours before. The meal afterwards was deep below averarge quality and way to overprized for this...kind of quality and the location. I came here a few weeks ago with my Portuguese woman who remembers this restaurant, living from her younger days in w n gaia. we came on a Sunday, a popular day with couples and families. as with any popular restaurant, they expect to wait, sit and there are comfortable chairs to sit as they wait. we were told that the waiting period would be half an hour while we were at the table in about twenty minutes. we had a nice suppe to begin and for the main plate we had picanha for two, with wonderful black beans flavored with presunto. also rice and the freshest, crisp roasted potato slices I've ever had. the food was excellent; Portuguese cuisine very well made. we had a half bottle douro red (kopke,) which was also excellent. the wine list offers many different tastes and budgets; something for everyone. all in all a very pleasant experience, I will return to the next time and try to fish.

Excelente serviço, atencioso e eficiente. Pratos bem serviços e muito bem confeccionados, tudo no ponto. Nada a objectar. Facilidade de estacionamento com parque privativo que também é algo a destacar, principalmente na época balnear, uma vez que está em frente à praia. Recomendo.

Já uma vez tinha ido jantar a este restaurante e tenho a dizer que dessa vez foi muito agradável. Desta vez só tenho a dizer mal, pois desde os mosquitos a incomodar e a querem beber e comer tanto como eu, ao ponto de se afogarem. A um polvo que foi ao forno só para aquecer, pois pelo sabor tinha dias de frigorífico, com um molho de óleo que só de cheirar já enjoava.A única coisa que não me desagradou totalmente foi a entrada e o pão, de resto meus amigos foi uma completa desilusão. Posso ter ido em dia não, mas um restaurante não pode ter dias não, tem de ser consistente na sua qualidade.Contas feitas, nunca mais ponho lá os pés não vão estar em dia não outra vez.
