Contribute FeedbackSix Mile Pub offers a mix of experiences, from disappointing to delightful. Some found the food lackluster and overpriced, while others praised the vegan options and locally sourced ingredients. The staff received mixed reviews, with some noting great service and others mentioning slow food arrival. The pub's history and wheelchair accessibility were highlights, while a mildew smell and issues with food quality were drawbacks. Overall, the restaurant seems to cater well to vegans and those with gluten sensitivities, but improvements in food quality and pricing could enhance the dining experience for all customers.
It's really nice to choose vegan in a separate, easy to find section on the menu. I had the vegan brain cake. the basic is lenses and portobello mushrooms, instead of doing like ground meat. the taste was delicious. I'm pretty sure there's a traditional version, so better be clear when you order.
The pub itself is really beautiful, much distance for covid, large ambiente. have the menu dine around $30 for an appie, pornstars and dessert. Eating was good, service was great, very pleasant evening. especially nice to see that their regular menu has several vegan options.
We have tried six miles for the annual dine around the victories, where they make a special 3 curs menu. there are some similar items on their regular menu. it is really nice that there are options for vegans from wein, appies, net and even desserts! and there. in a pub! our server was also vegan and really nice. the main was a kind of bland, but the appies and desserts were really good. it was also nice that it wasn't really fat.
Terrific service and delicious food made this my top spot for eating out while in Victoria. The French dip roast beef on a banh mi baguette was great, topped only by the lobster bisque. Wine lovers will enjoy the generous poor of BC wines. Loved our server, he was kind and witty and made the experience one to remember.
Every time I've come in for a meal or ordered out, it's been great, and there are tons of options for people who require a gluten-free diet. The building is also worth a visit. Excellent pub with tons of Victoria charm.
