There is a sign right on the trail directing you to The Nest Cafe, up a rise right at the side of the trail. We had been riding about an hour and a half on the Lochside and Galloping Goose Trails, starting at the ferry landing in Sidney, and were ready for a light lunch / sandwich stop. This gem of a Cafe is a must visit for all. Best in the mornings as the patio faces the morning sun. A delicious cup of coffee and sweet or savory item is a great way to start your day. Whether meeting there for a walk on 'the Goose ', or cycling to it as a destination I highly recommend this pet friendly spot with delicious food and friendly accommodating staff.
I recently moved to the island and stumbled upon this fantastic cafe. The staff is very cheerful and the coffees and food are top-notch. I highly recommend this place. Cheers!
