We followed the Internet recommendation, but the name (Italian) was not encouraging (we normally avoid Italian restaurants out of Italy). To our surprise and joy, the outcome was sensational: extremely friendly (and genuine) staff, followed by phantasticly...tasty dinner, at reasonable price, made our day! What else to say but go there and see for yourselves!

Upon w... read more Four of us a multi generational group traveled to Vienna to see the Christmas markets. We stayed in an Airbnb in a neighborhood close to the center city. Upon walking back one evening, we were looking for a restaurant close to our Airbnb. We needed...a bit of a break from all Viennese cuisine (traditional). We selected Tancredi which bills itself as Mediterranean and we are so glad we did. The service as spectacular and the food divine. I had the ravioli delicious in a fantastic sauce. The ingredients were super fresh. My vegetarian relative was easily able to find something delicious to eat as well.
