The Ruby Restaurant, located inside the funky Motel Zed on Johnson Street, offers a unique and eclectic dining experience. Overall, The Ruby impresses with its quality food, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere.
Wonderful place. My husband had the homemade sausage Benny and said it was one of the top he has ever had. I had the shredded duck with crispy onions and brie on a homemade biscuit, outstanding. It has been a couple of hours and we are still thinking about how good it was. Definitely a place to check out.
Cute lil’ spot. Nothing to complain about! I expected breakfast sausage but it was more like one big brat. My fault for not asking for clarification. Vanilla latte was good but not very vanilla-y.
Went here for brunch. The food was amazing the portions were huge! The potatoes are the perfect crispy fluffy ratio. The duck just fell off the bone the sauce that same with it paired perfectly well. Would definitely go back recommended. Only downside is that it's small so not lots of seating, but still worth a visit. The staff were also helpful friendly :
Very accommodating for those with Celiac disease, with gluten-free bread available. The hollandaise sauce is absolutely amazing!
Excellent café! The owners are Celiac, which means they have a strong understanding of food preparation for dietary needs. I tried the gluten-free chicken hash, and it was delicious. The portion sizes are generous, and there are plenty of options on the menu. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it if you're visiting Victoria!
