Friendly staff, great variety on the menu and fantastic pizza, easy to get to and lots of free parking. You can also shop in the Westshore Mall if you so desire. View all feedback.
What Jeramie Lubowitz doesn't like about Romeo's:
We ordered dinner from the Langford Romeo's 2 of the meals were the souvlaki wrap. Almost zero tzatziki sauce on the wraps. We phoned to report the dry wrap and the hostess wouldn't pass us on to the manager. Instead she checked with the kitchen...and suggested we just ask for extra tzatziki next time. Okay....... How about taking that feedback to the kitchen and suggesting to the chef that he/she actually changes ho... View all feedback.
I ordered a vegetarian pizza and when it arrived, I quickly noticed that the entire pizza was stitched with fat until the crust was no longer firm and I could squeeze it and used it in my hand. how moldy and ton it was disgusting so that later I called the manager to whom the young man matched a hissy and refused to give my tender to me unnecessary to say I will not give
Last 2 pizzas delivered were barely warm. The 5 pasta dishes we had delivered last week were barely warm as well. My vegie lasagna had a lump of hard dried out cheese that looked like it had been out of the oven for an hour....I thought I'd microwave it but couldn't get it out of the container because it was hard and stuck. I dumped it upside down on my plate and it must have at 2 of plain noodles with a minuscule amount of sauce that would have been on the top but now on the bottom. Phoned in a few days and spoke with the manger (I guess) at Langford and told him my story. He seemed quite disinterested and said he would give me a credit of $20. He didn't even ask me how much I had paid which was very close to $100!! I said I would take it but still was not satisfied and he said nothing more and I said thanks but I will not be coming back. He still did not respond. I have gone to Romeo's and been satisfied since approx. 1975 when the first Hillside Ave. store opened. Also gave a 18% tip and hope the delivery boy gets it as he was very personable and polite. My son said to go to Mad Greek's instead and this is what I will do.
Service good, food bad. Had Mushroom Neptune to start sent it back due to using chalky alfredo sauce instead of cream cheese base. Ok, ordered veal parm for myself, wife had chicken alfredo with the add on of vegetables. Veal parm breading was soggy and...same chalky alfredo sauce with the noodles(by chalky I mean a flour rue insted of cheese and cream with spices). Ate less than half of the veal and hardly any noodles. Wife ate her meal and said it was alright. Tell the server about the meal and ask for a take out container for the rest of my wife 's meal she couldn 't finish. She apologizes and goes to ring in the bill. She comes back and on the bill she took the mushrooms off but full price of $22 and some change for the dinner I didn 't eat. I bring it up saying I 'm willing to pay half but full price is not acceptable. I will go talk to the kitchen she says. Comes back later and the kitchen wont take money off the bill. Hope the $11 dollars makes up for the possible money you would have made if we ever went back. A short lesson to you, its acts like that, that will eventually sink a restaurant. Thanks for nothing. The only reason you got stars at all is because we have had your pizza before and liked it. And so you are aware, we also had to make an emergency bathroom stop for my wife on the way home. Adios
Ordered delivery. Two Maui Luau pizzas. VERY, VERY GOOD! One of the best tasting pizzas I have ever had. Chicken, ham, bacon, pineapple, caramelized onion, red pepper, mozzarella cheddar with a teriyaki sauce. They did not do a good job spreading out the red...pepper so some pieces did not have any on it. This should not have happened. The price is VERY good as it was $42 for two large plus $3 delivery plus GST (5% . See attached picture.

How about taking that feedback to the kitchen and suggesting to the chef that he/she actually changes how that meal is made?? We won't be ordering that meal from them again. I've eaten souvlaki wraps many times and none of them tasted like plain bread and chicken. No offer of a reimbursement or something to offset the chef's mistake or lack of knowledge on how to actually make a souvlaki wrap. One star due to not acknowledging the mistake and not offering to make up for it.
