But today, we had another amazing meal at Sushi Jiro... And finally, here 's my review. I 'd give them 100 stars if I could. The service, the cleanliness, the decor, plus the incredibly delicious, fresh menu makes this, to our whole family, the BEST Sushi Restaurant/experience in Victoria, bar none! Everything is very elegant and tasteful. Everything. Cheers and thank you Sushi Jiro!

Unlike many... read more This relatively new, small, and unpretentious yet elegant Japanese sushi restaurant located in Cook Street Village truly deserves its high ratings. Unlike many of its more traditional competitors in Victoria, Sushi Jiro manages to introduce some innovative touches while still adhering to fundamental principles. We sampled several of their signature dishes, such as the delicious maguro crispy rice and the satisfying miso nabe. Both the presentation and the flavors were outstanding, showcasing excellent freshness.

Then we had the tuna with fried rice, as well as the salmon tempura roll. It was all delicious, and I appreciated thefusion of some of the dishes. We will definitely be eating there again.

The bulgogi yubu inari were wonderful and tasty as well. A very busy server worked the restaurantefficiently and didn't forget a thing, smiling all the time. The Cook Street Village area is very nice and has some interestingshops to boot. We will be back!!
